Refund Policy

1. Current Service Status
As of the date of this policy, Markah is a free service. No payment is required to register or use Markah. New accounts receive 30 bonus essays, followed by 10 free essays per month. No credit card is required.
2. Future Paid Plans
Markah intends to introduce optional paid plans (e.g. additional essay credits or premium features). When paid plans become available, the following refund terms will apply.
3. Refund Eligibility
When paid plans are launched:
- 7-day refund window: You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided that fewer than 20% of the purchased credits have been used.
- Partially used credits: Purchases where more than 20% of credits have been used are not eligible for a refund.
- Subscription plans: Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; no prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining days in the billing period.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email contact@niskala.my with:
- Your registered email address
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
We will review and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Credits that have already been used for grading
- Purchases made more than 7 days prior to the refund request
- Accounts that have been suspended due to Terms of Service violations
6. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from using credits you have paid for, please contact us at contact@niskala.my. We will investigate and either resolve the issue or issue a credit/refund at our discretion.
