Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Markah is completely free. You can register with your email or Google account — no payment details required.
When do my 10 monthly essays reset?
On the 1st of every calendar month, your essay count resets to 10. Your 30 bonus essays never expire and are used first.
What counts as one essay?
Each individual student submission counts as one essay — whether it's a full exam or a single part. Reviewing and adjusting an already-graded essay does not use an additional credit.
Will the free tier always exist?
Yes. We are committed to keeping a free tier available. If limits change, existing users will be notified in advance.
What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?
You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account returns to the free tier (10 essays/month).
